Tororo Botanical Gardens

Tooro Botanical Gardens (TBG) is an indigenous NGO founded in 2001 as a centre of excellence in growing, maintaining and displaying living collections of the Albertine Rift plants for conservation, scientific research, education, horticultural, medicinal, culinary, aesthetic and recreational purposes.

The Tooro Botanical Garden is a perfect site for leisure, with numerous peaceful places for resting, being with friends, or just listening to nature. Yet, TBG is also a place where many different and innovative activities take place and deserve to be seen, discussed and encouraged. Visitors are very welcome! You can walk alone or request a simple or oriented tour (birds, trees…) from our guides.
